Terms & Conditions

These terms cover bookings made with AthensDayTrip for airport transfers, port transfers and day trips in Athens and Attica, Greece. By booking a trip with us, you agree to them.

1. Bookings

A booking is confirmed once we reply to your WhatsApp message with a confirmation, a fixed price and your driver's details. Prices are fixed per vehicle (not per person) and include tolls, unless stated otherwise.

2. Payment

By default, nothing is charged when you book — this is "Reserve Now & Pay Later" at checkout. Payment is made directly to the driver in cash at the end of the ride. We do not store or process payment card details through this website.

If you choose "Pay Now" at checkout instead, payment is handled by PayPal — by card or PayPal account, whichever you prefer. We never see or store your card details; PayPal processes the charge and confirms it directly to us. Your booking is confirmed once that payment clears.

3. Cancellations and no-shows

Cancellation windows, date/destination changes and refund timing are covered on their own page: our Cancellation & Refund Policy. It has separate rules for transfers/van-by-the-hour and for day trips.

4. Flight and ferry delays

We track your flight or ferry and adjust your pickup time to match the real arrival. The first 60 minutes of waiting after landing are free; after that, waiting is charged at €5 per 15 minutes.

5. Luggage and passengers

Vehicles are shared per booking, not per person. Up to 5 passengers may travel with full-size suitcases; 6–7 passengers can be accommodated with carry-on bags only. Tell us in advance about strollers, golf bags, sports equipment or extra luggage so we can confirm it will fit.

6. Child seats

Infant and booster child seats are available free of charge — tell us your child's age when you book so the right seat is ready.

7. Additional charges

Night surcharge (00:00–05:00) is €15. A return trip booked together gets a 10% discount on both legs. We don't charge for extra stops along a route — we're a private van, not a taxi.

8. Our responsibility

We carry appropriate licensing and insurance as a transport operator in Greece (licence no. 170330001000). We are not responsible for delays or losses caused by events outside our reasonable control, including flight or ferry delays, weather, road closures or traffic. Please keep valuables and fragile items with you rather than in checked luggage.

9. Day trips

Day trip prices cover the vehicle and driver for the stated duration. Entry tickets, guides and meals are not included unless agreed in advance. Running significantly over the booked duration may incur an additional hourly charge, agreed with your driver before the trip continues.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Greece. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Greek courts.
